Product madness and its EU subsidiaries (collectively, “Product Madness” or “we”) will use the personal data we collect about you in the context of this application process in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. For this purpose, we assume, and you represent that any statements you provided us in this resume and application process are true, complete and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief. Product madness relies on this certification and on any other representations you make to us during the application process. The omission of any relevant information or the provision of any false or misleading statements or information during the application process may serve as a ground for refusal to hire or if hired, could result in disciplinary action including the termination of employment. If you are aware of changes or inaccuracies in your personal data of which product madness is not aware, you should at any time inform product madness of such changes so that your personal data may be updated or corrected. This employment application or the granting of an interview will not create an employment relationship or other agreement between product madness and yourself. The submission of your resume and application does not obligate product madness in any way to consider your application, to grant an interview or to make an offer of employment. If subsequent to this application you are offered employment by product madness, that offer of employment will be conditional on your executing written terms and conditions of employment and complying with any other reasonable requests of product madness.
Types of personal data collected
The personal data we collect and use about you include the following types of data:
- date of birth
- email address
- telephone number (landline and mobile)
- employment history
- education history
- referee contacts
- national insurance number/ social security number
- place of birth
- marital status
Purposes of collection and use of personal data The personal data or information that you provide in this application process will be used by product madness for the purpose of:
- Product madness’s legitimate interests in connection with the administration, evaluation and management of your application, including to carry out the hiring process and to make it possible for you to apply for and / or be offered a position at product madness;
- Compliance with product madness’s legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements or employment law requirements; and
- The entering into and performance of an employment contract with you.
As the gaming industry is highly regulated, any offer of employment will be conditional upon successful completion of product madness’s recruitment process. Subject to applicable law, this process may include background checks such as criminal, credit and reference checks as well as completing product madness’s online training program within 90 days of the
commencement of employment. The background checks may involve the collection of additional information about you from educational institutions, government agencies, previous employers, credit reporting agencies, information in the public domain and law enforcement agencies at the international, national or local level so far as is permitted by applicable law.
If you accept an offer of employment, or if you are employed before the background checks are completed, or if you fail to satisfactorily complete product madness’s online training
program or the results of your background checks are unsatisfactory to product madness, your employment may be terminated, or if you have not commenced employment, any
employment contract entered into may be terminated immediately by Product Madness.
Sharing of personal data
In the context (and for the purposes) of this application process, product madness will contact and discuss your previous experience and performance with any persons you
indicated as references. This may involve the transfer of some of your personal data to these persons.
Product madness may transfer your personal data, including data or information pertaining to your credit situation and credit history, to other product madness departments and
affiliated companies, or third parties who will process your personal data in connection with your application and on our behalf.
Some of the departments, companies, or third parties may be located outside your home country, in a country which offers a lower or different level of personal data or information
protection from the level applied in your country. Product madness is committed, consistent with relevant data protection laws, to the protection of your personal data or information
which may be transferred across borders and the appropriate access to and use of your personal data or information to prevent misuse or unlawful disclosure of information.
When personal data is shared with other subsidiaries or affiliates of product madness, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the personnel of those entities is bound to duties of
confidentiality with respect to your personal data. In case your personal data is shared with a third party which will process the personal data on our behalf, this third party will be
carefully selected and required to use appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality and security of personal data. In any case, product madness implements measures such as
standard data protection clauses mandated by law to ensure that any transferred data remains protected and secure. You can obtain a copy of these clauses by contacting us via

Product madness may also disclose or otherwise process your personal data in the context of any sale or transaction involving all or a portion of the business, or as may be required or permitted by law or required for the purposes of any regulatory audit to which product madness may be subject from time to time.
Your personal data will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above and as long as required by applicable laws. In case your application is rejected, your personal data may be retained on file for a 1-year period to be used for future employment opportunities, subject to applicable law on retention of personal data. The information obtained in the context of background checks will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, in accordance with applicable
laws. If your application is successful and you are offered an employment with product madness, your personal data will be transferred to an employee personnel file and will be processed and retained in accordance with applicable law.
You are entitled to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing or to object to processing of your personal data and other rights in
accordance with applicable law. If you ask for deletion of your personal information, we will no longer be able to consider your application. Requests should be submitted in writing to

If you are not satisfied with the way product madness has treated your personal data, you may file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
