Mobile games specialist Product Madness is continuing to expand and diversify its world class portfolio of top performing games. In its latest deal the company has acquired Polish free-to-play mobile gaming studio Playsoft.
Gdansk-based Playsoft has a long track record of developing game titles for leading game publishers – more than 50 games since 2004. The studio has an impressive record of top grossing games and vast experience in game development, including Google awarded best casual game of 2019 – Vineyard Valley (by Jam City)
Under its new owners, Playsoft will become Product Madness’ latest development hub, and one in a strategically important location. Post-acquisition, the studio will continue to be led by founders Nicolas Bensignor and Pierre Oliver Monteil.
The acquisition is a good fit for both companies. It provides an opportunity for the two companies to join forces, allowing best-in-class player focused development, delivery skills and product design to fast track the company’s strategic growth goals. It also provides both companies with a strong talent pool footprint in Poland that will support the future scaling needs for both, existing and new games.
Product Madness is one of the world’s largest mobile game studios, with a global presence. Founded in 2007, it is today the number one leader in Social Slots globally and a top grossing performer in the social casino mobile games, entertaining millions of players around the world with titles such as Heart of Vegas, Cashman Casino, Lightning Link and FaFaFa Gold.
“Bringing Playsoft on board deepens our access to development talent in another top-tier games hub in Europe,” says Yoav Ecker, Managing Director of Product Madness. “Playsoft has an enviable track record of successful mobile game development and a reputation for creativity and innovation. Alongside our existing organic growth, welcoming the Playsoft team will further expand our game pipeline in the high priority social casual gaming genre. With the benefits of our ambitious strategy, global scale – as well as our marketing and investment capabilities – we look forward to helping our new colleagues reach even greater heights as part of Product Madness.”
“The whole team at Playsoft are excited to be part of the Product Madness family,” agrees Playsoft founder Nicolas Bensignor. “We are super motivated to develop incredible top-grossing games with the Product Madness team.”
